The Basswood is reminiscent of the ranch homes of "Big Sky Country". The front elevation of the Basswood is denoted by a massive double log gabled entry porch and sweeping verandah. Inset window dormers on the upper level and extended end gables create give this home a masculine feel. The rear elevation features large expanses of open glass and private decks and terraces. Stone fireplaces and clay chimney caps complete the look of a home born from the earth and tamed in the west.
